Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor vital signs and document client observations accurately
- Assist with medication reminders and light housekeeping duties
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Implement individualized care plans under supervision of RN case managers
- Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience as Home Health Aide or certified nursing assistant
- Current Florida HHA certification or CNA license
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass Level 2 background screening and drug test
- Compassionate demeanor with patience for elderly/disabled clients
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation to client homes throughout Miami-Dade
