Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately under pharmacist supervision
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA
- Manage pharmaceutical inventory, including ordering and stock rotation
- Provide medication counseling and exceptional customer service
- Prepare IV solutions and compound medications as directed
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety
- Maintain clean, organized pharmacy environment
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician certification (PTB/ExCPT)
- Minimum 1 year pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours (including evenings/weekends)
- Basic computer proficiency with pharmacy software
- Knowledge of state pharmacy regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent required
