Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings including ICU, ER, and MedSurg units
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform diagnostic procedures per facility protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards
- Adapt quickly to new healthcare environments and facility-specific workflows
- Maintain sterile techniques and infection control protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing with Hawaii State Board of Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and cultural competence for diverse patient populations
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
