Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned clinical units with adaptability to varying patient acuity levels
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per facility protocols
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Maintain strict compliance with Joint Commission standards and hospital policies
- Participate in rapid-response situations and emergency care protocols
- Adapt quickly to new clinical environments and department-specific workflows
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred for critical care roles
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Willingness to complete facility-specific orientation and competencies
