Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone/telehealth and prioritize care urgency
- Collaborate with physicians to develop appropriate treatment plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Provide clear patient education on self-care and next steps
- Coordinate care transitions across departments and facilities
- Respond to medical emergencies per established protocols
- Mentor junior staff on triage best practices
Qualifications
- Active NJ RN license (required)
- 3+ years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Experience with Epic EHR systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Spanish bilingual preferred
