Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via telehealth platform with precision and empathy
- Make critical decisions on patient acuity levels and appropriate care pathways
- Collaborate with physicians to coordinate urgent care interventions
- Document clinical encounters using Epic EMR with 100% accuracy
- Educate patients on self-care measures and home treatment options
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and NY state nursing regulations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current NYS RN license with minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required (PALS preferred)
- Proficiency in telehealth technologies and EMR systems
- Exceptional triage assessment skills and clinical judgment
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative relationships
- Availability for 20-30 hours/week including evening/weekend shifts
