Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments via telehealth and in-person consultations
- Prioritize cases based on acuity and established protocols
- Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and ancillary departments
- Maintain precise electronic health records and documentation
- Provide clear patient education and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in emergency response drills and training
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years triage or emergency department experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
