- Submit clean claims to Medicare/Medicaid and private insurers with 95%+ accuracy
- Manage denial resolution and appeals processes for complex cases
- Conduct regular audits of patient accounts and coding documentation
- Collaborate with physicians to ensure proper CPT/ICD-10 coding
- Generate monthly revenue cycle reports for executive leadership
- Train junior billing staff on compliance protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in physician practice or hospital setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Expert knowledge of HIPAA, EMTALA, and Wisconsin Medicaid regulations
- Proficient in Epic EMR and Athenahealth billing platforms
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP/Pivot Table capabilities
- Proven track record of reducing AR days by 15%+
