As a key member of our emergency response team, you'll utilize your clinical judgment to prioritize patient care needs, communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure seamless transitions through our healthcare system. Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and medical history to determine urgency of care
- Provide accurate medical advice via phone, video, and in-person consultations
- Coordinate with emergency departments, specialists, and primary care providers
- Document patient encounters using EMR systems with precision
- Educate patients on home care instructions and follow-up protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Hawaii
- Minimum 2 years emergency or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong triage assessment skills and clinical judgment
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Experience with Epic or similar EMR systems preferred
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
