Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via telehealth and in-person triage using standardized protocols
- Prioritize cases based on acuity and communicate effectively with medical teams
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems with attention to detail
- Provide education on self-care and when to seek emergency services
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care plans
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Virginia with minimum 2 years clinical experience
- BLS/ACLS certification and current triage training/certification
- Strong assessment skills and ability to work independently
- Exceptional communication and decision-making abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR or similar healthcare platforms
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
