Responsibilities
- Process and submit clean claims to insurance payers (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial)
- Verify patient eligibility and benefits prior to service
- Appeal denied claims with supporting documentation
- Reconcile EOBs and patient statements accurately
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and coding standards (ICD-10, CPT)
- Collaborate with clinical teams to resolve billing discrepancies
Qualifications
- 2+ years of medical billing experience in US healthcare
- Proficiency in medical billing software (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Strong knowledge of insurance claim processes
- Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy
