Responsibilities
- Delight residents with personalized assistance in daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Accurately document patient vitals, observations, and care delivery in electronic health records
- Collaborate with nursing teams to implement individualized care plans and ensure resident safety
- Assist with meal services while monitoring dietary restrictions and preferences
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Maintain clean, organized resident rooms and common areas according to infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Ohio CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or hospital experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification from recognized provider
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills and compassionate approach to patient care
- Proficiency in electronic documentation systems
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
