Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across diverse clinical settings with precision and compassion
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Lead patient education initiatives to promote health literacy and self-care management
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
- Maintain compliance with all state nursing regulations and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Colorado
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certifications required for specific units
- Strong critical thinking skills and clinical judgment abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient/family interactions
- Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based nursing practices
