Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and document resident health status accurately
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding support as needed
- Transport residents safely within facility for activities and appointments
- Maintain clean resident environments and infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team and resident families
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergency situations
- Participate in care planning meetings and team huddles
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Florida CNA certification (or enrolled in state-approved program)
- Flexible availability to cover various shifts including weekends/holidays
- Basic computer skills for documentation systems
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
