Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient assessment, planning, and intervention in assigned units
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Provide mentorship to nursing staff and students as needed
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Indiana (or compact state)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (MedSurg/ICU/ER)
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Exceptional communication and patient advocacy abilities
- Flexibility to work across multiple units as needed
