Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in specialized units including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while maintaining strict safety protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately and timely
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and health maintenance strategies
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO standards and hospital policies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and committee activities
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas with no disciplinary actions
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred for leadership roles)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in relevant specialty
- BLS, ACLS, and relevant certifications (e.g., TNCC, PALS)
- Proven ability to adapt to flexible shift rotations including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Advanced proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
