Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via telehealth and phone triage using clinical judgment protocols
- Collaborate with physicians to prioritize urgent cases and coordinate care pathways
- Document encounters accurately in Epic EHR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Educate patients on home care instructions and discharge planning
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Respond to medical emergencies with rapid intervention protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Massachusetts (compact license accepted)
- 3+ years emergency or urgent care triage experience
- ACLS/BLS certification with current credentials
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms (e.g., Teladoc, Amwell)
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
