Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and triage protocols to prioritize care based on acuity and urgency.
- Document patient histories, vital signs, and clinical findings accurately in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and advanced practice providers to develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide clear, compassionate instructions to patients and families regarding follow-up care and medications.
- Manage high-volume patient flow efficiently during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal healthcare regulations and facility policies.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in an urgent care or emergency department setting.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient education.
- Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner.
