Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone and triage calls to determine urgency and appropriate care level
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate patient care plans
- Provide clear medical guidance to patients and their families
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care or triage experience
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Strong problem-solving abilities under pressure
