Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and conducting cycle counts
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records with HIPAA compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Utilize pharmacy software for prescription processing and documentation
- Assist with sterile compounding and IV preparation when certified
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency with willingness to learn pharmacy systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must be able to attend paid training program (4 weeks, 40 hrs/week)
- Nebraska Pharmacy Technician registration preferred but not required
