Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications as prescribed
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain a safe, clean environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life
- Document care plans and client progress in electronic health records
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or certified nursing assistant (CNA) license
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation to client homes throughout Bakersfield
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and occasional evenings
