Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication management
- Transport clients to medical appointments, social events, and errands using personal vehicle
- Monitor client health status and document observations in electronic health records
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating home environment for clients
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or equivalent training/certification
- Valid Missouri driver's license with clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and compassionate nature
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Basic computer literacy for documentation purposes
