Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Monitor and report changes in client health, mood, or behavior to the Care Manager.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry as assigned to maintain a clean living environment.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with medication reminders.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for all clients at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA (Home Health Aide) certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
