Responsibilities
- Provide daily living assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping to ensure a safe living environment.
- Administer medication reminders and accompany clients to medical appointments.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce loneliness and improve mental well-being.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the nursing supervisor.
- Help with mobility assistance and transfers using proper body mechanics.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or CMA (Certified Medication Aide) certification is a plus but not required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
