Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide medication reminders and monitor clients for any health changes or emergencies.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to improve the client's quality of life.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, social events, and community outings.
- Document daily care logs and communicate updates to the nursing staff and family members.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or HHA preferred but not required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, and assist patients as needed.
