Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor clients' health status, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or family members immediately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on specific dietary restrictions.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, social events, and community outings in a safe manner.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks essential to the client's comfort and hygiene.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medical supplies as directed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Current state certification as a CNA, HHA, or PCA is strongly preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and assist clients safely.
