Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Monitor clients' health status, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or family members immediately.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on specific dietary restrictions.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Transport clients to medical appointments, social events, and community outings in a safe manner.
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks essential to the client's comfort and hygiene.
  • Administer medication reminders and assist with medical supplies as directed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Current state certification as a CNA, HHA, or PCA is strongly preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and assist clients safely.
