Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry to ensure a safe living environment.
- Provide medication reminders and track daily schedules to ensure client safety.
- Engage clients in conversation, hobbies, and recreational activities to promote mental well-being.
- Monitor health status and promptly report any changes, concerns, or emergencies to the care coordinator.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and provide transportation assistance.
- Document care activities and maintain accurate client records.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- CNA, CMA, or HHA certification is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Must demonstrate exceptional patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and health assessment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
