Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation, bathing, and medication reminders
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to family members and supervisors
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities using personal vehicle
- Light housekeeping duties including laundry and tidying living spaces
- Maintain accurate care logs and client documentation
- Follow care plans and collaborate with healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience required
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and genuine compassion for seniors
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends
- Basic knowledge of senior care protocols
