Job Summary
We are looking for certified professionals who are eager to advance their careers in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, or surgeries, as directed by nursing staff.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent pressure ulcers.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and supervised by a Registered Nurse.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license valid in the state of New Mexico.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility is preferred.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care.
