Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and cosmetic treatments
- Perform chairside assistance with instrument sterilization and equipment maintenance
- Take and develop diagnostic dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Manage patient education on oral hygiene and treatment procedures
- Oversee inventory control and ordering of dental supplies
- Maintain strict compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
- Coordinate seamless patient flow between exam rooms and treatment areas
Qualifications
- Active Washington State Dental Assistant certification or DANB certification
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital imaging systems (Dexis/Sidexis)
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Strong attention to detail in infection control protocols
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
