Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatment and assist dentists during procedures
- Sterilize instruments and maintain clinical equipment
- Take dental radiographs and assist with diagnostic imaging
- Manage patient records using digital dental software
- Provide post-operative instructions and chairside support
- Order inventory and manage supply chain logistics
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Dental Assistant certification or graduate of accredited program
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in digital imaging software (e.g., Dexis, Eaglesoft)
- Strong interpersonal skills and chairside manner
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of infection control protocols
- Valid Indiana dental radiography license
