Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare, verify, and dispense prescription medications following established protocols
- Provide exceptional remote patient counseling on medication usage and side effects
- Maintain precise inventory management and medication records in our digital systems
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers via telehealth platforms
- Ensure compliance with DEA, HIPAA, and state pharmacy regulations
- Process insurance claims and resolve billing inquiries efficiently
- Train on advanced telepharmacy technology and remote monitoring tools
Qualifications
- Active Missouri Pharmacy Technician license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience in retail or hospital pharmacy setting
- Proficiency in pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell, or similar)
- Exceptional communication skills for virtual patient interactions
- Strong attention to detail and medication safety knowledge
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Basic understanding of telehealth compliance standards
- High school diploma or equivalent; PTCB certification preferred
