Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols
- Manage patient records and schedule appointments efficiently
- Assist with administrative tasks including billing and insurance claims
- Maintain dental instruments and equipment in optimal condition
- Provide post-procedure care instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or equivalent experience
- X-ray certification and CPR certification required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or dental practice management software
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to create patient rapport
- Attention to detail and commitment to infection control standards
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
