Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephone/telehealth patient assessments to determine urgency and appropriate care pathways
- Utilize clinical judgment to prioritize cases and coordinate with emergency services when necessary
- Document detailed patient encounters in electronic health records with 100% accuracy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Educate patients on home care instructions and follow-up protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada (or compact state)
- Minimum 3 years acute care nursing experience
- BSN preferred (ADN with equivalent experience considered)
- Valid BLS certification
- Proven triage experience in emergency, urgent care, or telehealth setting
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong proficiency with telehealth platforms and EHR systems
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
