Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during dental procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical cases
- Manage patient scheduling and digital charting using Dentrix software
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA-compliant operatory setups
- Take accurate dental radiographs (X-rays) and impressions
- Assist in patient education on oral hygiene procedures
- Order inventory and manage supply chain logistics
- Coordinate with labs for crown/bridge fabrication
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- X-ray certification (RDA) and CPR certification
- Proficiency with digital imaging (Schick/Sirona) and practice management software
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Strong attention to detail and infection control protocols
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
