Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain a safe environment
- Document client care progress and report changes to supervisor
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- TN state Home Health Aide certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Background check and drug screening required
