Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and determine appropriate care urgency using ESI protocols
- Provide telehealth and in-person triage for diverse patient populations
- Collaborate with physicians to develop patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate patient transfers and specialist referrals
- Educate patients on home care instructions and preventive measures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years triage/ER experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic or EHR systems
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication abilities in English/Spanish preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to cover various shifts including nights/weekends
