Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain client environment
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Document care activities and client observations accurately
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare team
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience as Home Health Aide or similar role
- Current Florida HHA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- CPR and First Aid certification required
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear criminal background check and negative drug screen
- Strong communication skills and compassionate demeanor
- Proficiency in basic care documentation systems
