Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to assist our physicians and nurses in providing high-quality medical care to our diverse patient population. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical departments.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals checks, and medical history documentation with precision.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare and administer medications as directed by physicians and document accurately.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain organized medical charts.
- Coordinate lab samples and facilitate diagnostic testing schedules.
- Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and wellness programs.
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NCMA) or equivalent experience.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a multi-specialty clinic.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar).
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
