Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Process insurance claims and manage patient billing inquiries
- Maintain pharmaceutical inventory with efficient stock rotation
- Ensure HIPAA compliance for all patient records and transactions
- Provide exceptional customer service to diverse patient populations
- Prepare sterile compounds and IV admixtures when required
- Train new pharmacy staff on established protocols
Qualifications
- Nevada Pharmacy Technician license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Prior retail/hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Certification through PTCB or ExCPT required
- Strong attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
