Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Process insurance claims and manage patient billing inquiries
- Maintain precise inventory control and medication records
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Assist in compounding sterile and non-sterile preparations
- Train new technicians on pharmacy systems and protocols
- Ensure compliance with all DEA, FDA, and state pharmacy regulations
Qualifications
- Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician license
- PTCB certification required
- Minimum 1 year retail pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and computer literacy
