Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Process insurance claims and manage patient billing inquiries
- Maintain precise inventory control and medication ordering systems
- Provide exceptional customer service and patient education
- Ensure strict compliance with DEA, HIPAA, and pharmacy regulations
- Operate automated dispensing systems and pharmacy software
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician certification required
- Minimum 1 year retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Strong attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume setting
- CPR certification preferred
- Background check and drug screen clearance required
