Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections adhering to CLIA standards
- Process, label, and transport specimens to laboratory departments
- Maintain accurate patient records using EHR systems
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols
- Provide patient education and emotional support during procedures
- Collaborate with lab staff for specimen integrity

Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP, NHA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Valid Nebraska phlebotomy license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency in venipuncture techniques across diverse patient populations
- Strong attention to detail and specimen handling skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-volume settings
