Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in diverse clinical settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress accurately
- Adhere to hospital protocols, JCAHO standards, and state nursing regulations
- Participate in orientation and training for new facility systems and procedures
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Missouri (or compact state with ability to obtain MO license)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience in specialty area
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; additional certifications per unit preference
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Flexibility to adapt to new clinical environments and protocols
- Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced settings
