Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D and product teams
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption ROI and innovation portfolio performance
- Manage vendor partnerships and open-source ecosystem contributions
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI/ML, Web3, etc.)
- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., CIMP, CEIM) preferred
- Experience scaling tech products in high-growth environments
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism
