Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy, identifying emerging trends in AI, biotech, and clean energy
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and scientists to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford) and government initiatives (ARPA-E)
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven impact projections
- Secure $50M+ in R&D funding through grant writing and venture capital negotiations
- Author thought leadership pieces in journals like Nature Futures and MIT Technology Review
- Oversee implementation of ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and AI governance
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years in tech strategy
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, or neuromorphic computing)
- Deep expertise in futures research methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Experience securing federal grants (SBIR, NSF) and managing $10M+ R&D budgets
- Published research in top-tier journals with >500 citations
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese for global stakeholder engagement
- Security clearance eligibility (DOD/NASA projects)
