Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) through 2026+
- Develop technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Conduct ROI and risk assessments for experimental tech initiatives
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops with engineering, product, and marketing teams
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Monitor global tech policy/regulatory shifts impacting implementation timelines
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting market trends and tech adoption cycles
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., generative AI, Web3)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience building business cases for experimental technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Practitioner) a plus
