Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends and opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable R&D priorities
- Design and validate prototype solutions for 2026 market readiness
- Build stakeholder partnerships with academia, government, and industry leaders
- Present future forecasts to executive leadership and investors
- Curate innovation lab resources and experimental testing protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 5+ years in innovation strategy, R&D, or futures research
- Proven experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating completed futuristic projects or forecasts
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Strong data visualization and storytelling capabilities
- Certification in Foresight methodologies (e.g., CFTR) preferred
- Experience scaling experimental solutions to commercial viability
