Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze global trends across AI, biotech, climate tech, and social evolution to inform strategic roadmaps
- Architect innovation frameworks for 2026+ scenarios, including quantum computing applications and neuro-interfaces
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype future-ready products and services
- Present trend reports and strategic briefings to C-suite executives and board members
- Collaborate with R&D teams to commercialize emerging technologies
- Develop patent strategies for breakthrough innovations
- Mentor junior futurists and foster a culture of anticipatory thinking
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Systems Thinking, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for complex future scenarios
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (white papers, books, keynotes)
- Experience with scenario planning tools and horizon scanning methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successfully implemented future-focused initiatives
