Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026+ foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Produce strategic whitepapers and roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on future-facing opportunities and risks
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present futures insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and environmental megatrends with strategic implications
- Drive innovation pipeline development for 2026 product launches
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, clean energy)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or Copenhagen Institute)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major future-focused projects delivered to Fortune 500 companies
